That’s one way of putting this. You are right, though. Thank you for bringing light to this problem. The subject is marked by controversy and you are very informative about it. I’ve never seen it put that way. This makes a whole lot of sense. At first I was like, are you serious? But yeah, it makes a lot of sense.

A new similar service is http://www.nuffly.com. I especially like that it saves your social stuff in your dropbox account. This way you have a double back-up.

I like many am guilty of this very thing. Between work, family, friends, church, and everything else my biggest problem is finding the time. My other problem is remembering to do it when I do have the time. There are some great programs out there that allow you to post automatic status updates but they aren’t free so unless you are a hard core social media type probably not something you would want to do. The one I have used is SocialOomp which you can update Twitter for free but you have to pay to do updates on Facebook and doesn’t have anything on LinkedIn. Someone should make a program that does that….wish I knew how to do that.

This is great idea. I especially like the functionality of the backup platform. As some others have noted, backing up your social media is not something most of us consider, but your right in that it is something that if lost would greatly impact you. Thank you for the idea.

Theres also some “backup” sites for Youtube like Youtube Downloader or Free Youtube Download, they are great for who wants to download youtube videos and save it on the computer.

Btw, Backupfy that you just recommended is great, starting to use it already

I was reading through your review and got stopped cold at the “unshackable grapes”.

I’ve never heard of such a law.

What happens if you break this law and how on earth could they even catch you?

Seems more than a tab bit unreasonable.

Glad I’m just going to be a Maryland tourist this summer
